Thanks to my momย ๐ฟ๐๐, who was at the museum with me, I was able to get such great pictures ๐๐ ฑ๐๐ฆ in the Hatshepsutย ๐๐ ๐๐น๐๐๐๐ผ๐ชย Gallery!

Here I am in between the two ๐ป large red granite ๐ ๐ณ๐๐ถ statues ๐๐๐๐ญ๐พ๐ช of Hatshepsutย ๐๐ ๐๐น๐๐๐๐ผ๐ช! These statuesย ๐๐๐๐ญ๐พ๐ช are tremendous in size and so gorgeous ๐ค to look at! Hateshepsut ๐๐ ๐๐น๐๐๐๐ผ๐ช really does look regal in them!ย
In both statues ๐๐๐๐ญ๐พ๐ช, Hatshepsutย ๐๐ ๐๐น๐๐๐๐ผ๐ช is in aย kneeling position holding a nemset jar ๐๐บ in each handย ๐ง๐๐บ. In ancient Egyptย ๐๐ ๐๐, kneeling is considered a worshipping ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ข/offering ๐ต๐๐ช๐๐๐ฆ position, and hieroglyphs ๐น๐๐ช at the base of one of the statuesย ๐๐๐๐ญ๐พ๐ชย say that she is offering ๐ต๐๐ช๐๐๐ฆ plantsย ๐พ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฐย to the god ๐น Amunย ๐๐ ๐๐ญ.ย
The main difference between the two ๐ป statues ๐๐๐๐ญ๐พ๐ช is that one has a false beard and one does not! In statuary, pharaohs ๐๐ป๐ฆ were usually depicted wearing a false beard as it was a sign of royalty ๐พ. Since most of these statues ๐๐๐๐ญ๐พ๐ช were found in pieces at Deir el-Bahriย ๐ฆ๐๐ฆ๐ฅ๐ย during excavations, itโs possible that the statue ๐๐๐๐ญ๐พ on the right was supposed to have a false beard but it wasnโt found, or that it was never supposed to have one!
